All I want to know is ‘Are we really all that surprised?’
According to this video, more Americans have used drugs than people in the Netherlands have, even though the Netherlands’ drug laws are less strict.
Again, are we really surprised? Given the US history of going back and forth on whether hemp is bad just to suit the purposes of the times, can we really be surprised the more people use drugs under an inconsistent government rather than a consistent one?
I can’t help but wonder if they are going to take the results of this study even further to find out why more people in the US have used drugs. I doubt it.
