In the devastation left from a half-mile wide tornado that ripped apart the town of Joplin, Missouri, searchers go through the rubble looking for victims.
With a death toll now at 116, this is the nation’s deadliest tornado in almost sixty years and the second major tornado disaster in a month.
Despite the small town being nearly completely wiped out, workers are still optimistic that they will find more people alive despite residents not having very much warning before the tornado struck.
I can’t even begin to express my condolences for the people who have lost everything and possibly family members as well.
