“Former California representative Katie Hill is opening up about the sex scandal that led her to resign from Congress.
“On Friday morning, Hill, who is openly bisexual, appeared on The View to discuss the “menage a trois” scandal, which came to a head in October 2019 after her now-estranged husband leaked nude photos that revealed an illicit affair with a female campaign staffer.
“The 32-year-old former congresswoman admitted that the relationship “shouldn’t have formed,” but added that the scandal would never have dominated the news cycle if she were straight.
““There’s this headline that wouldn’t exist otherwise, the ‘menage a trois,’ that simply doesn’t play into a regular affair headline,” said Hill.”
