Surprise! After one late night in the hospital, Jimmy Fallon is now a father. The funnyman and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, welcomed a baby girl into the world in the early hours of Tuesday morning, People magazine reports.
The first-time parents are “overjoyed about the arrival of their beautiful daughter,” a rep for Fallon dished to the mag.
Fallon’s little girl joins several other high-profile births this week, including the royal baby and the new baby girl belonging to Hollywood actress Penenlope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem.
The late night host made several jokes on air during his Monday night monologue about the royal birth, giving no indication that his wife was even pregnant.
The 38-year-old TV personality, who will take over “The Tonight Show” from Jay Leno next year, and his producer other half, 46, were married in December 2007 after meeting through A-lister pal Drew Barrymore. The proud new parents have not yet released a name for their bundle of joy.
