“ARIEL Winter is finally an emancipated minor after years of drama with her estranged mother.
““I’m really lucky I have an amazing support system and lovely people in my life who have given me the support and guidance to have been given this wonderful opportunity,” the 17-year-old Modern Family star wrote on Twitter on Friday.
“She also gave a special shout-out to her sister, Shanelle Gray, who became Winter’s guardian in 2012 after the courts found evidence her mum Chrisoula Workman was emotionally abusing the actress.
“Winter acknowledged her father, too, who was put in charge of her finances in 2014.”
