I don’t care if people are dismissing it because it’s ‘like Superman’ – I think it looks fantastic.
“I’m presuming that Sony lacks the courage to play this second theatrical trailer for Brightburn in front of Captain Marvel and thus traumatize a bunch of potentially very young kids.
“I still admire the relative chutzpah of dropping this tease just days before Marvel releases the closest thing they’ve got thus far to a Superman movie.
“Yes, Sony and Screen Gems’ terrific-looking chiller, set for Memorial Day weekend alongside Walt Disney’s Aladdin, is still emphasizing its delicious hook. “What if Superboy… but evil?””
