“The CW had an interesting strategy in premiering one of its only two true freshman of the fall against wall-to-wall coverage of Tuesday’s vice presidential debate.
“No Tomorrow opened as broadcast’s only counterprogramming to speak of, and its initial same-day scores are predictably modest. At 9 p.m., No Tomorrow averaged just a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49 and 1.6 million viewers.
“That’s less than half of the score of lead-in The Flash, which returned to a 1.2 rating in the key demo and 3.1 million viewers.
“While low, even by CW premiere standards, No Tomorrow did open better than last year’s CW dramedy entry: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. (The critical favorite did not even crack 1 million viewers during its season premiere.)”
