“Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 movie releases may have not produced some of the best-reviewed entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but its Special Presentations have so far been right on the money.
“Following the hugely popular and highly praised Werewolf by Night release, Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special has been another winner with audiences.
“The special, which arrived on Disney+ last week, has produced one of the best scores on Rotten Tomatoes of any MCU project.
“James Gunn may be on his way out of the Marvel franchise as he takes on the huge task of making the DCU a coherent money-spinner, but he is certainly not going out without proving why he is more than up for that job.”
