“In news sure to thrill lovers of the Dark Arts, Warner Bros. has just approved a Harry Potter prequel centered on He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
“Okay, we’ll name him: Voldemort.
“But there’s a catch. The film will not be directly based on source material from Harry Potter scribe J. K. Rowling.
“Rather, the basis will be a viral trailer for a fan-made film, which has garnered over three million views on YouTube.
“A group of Harry Potter fans, Tryangle Films, recently unveiled their impressively produced teaser for VOLDEMORT: Origins of the Heir. The crew had raised over $17,000 from the trailer alone to complete the film.”
