“Japanese broadcaster NHK aired video that appears to show a bright light falling through the night sky off the island of Hokkaido.

“NHK says the footage, caught by several of its cameras, was recorded around the same time a missile launched by North Korea fell into the Sea of Japan west of Hokkaido.

“Earlier a Japanese government spokesman said the North Korean missile flew for about 45 minutes and landed in the sea to the west of the Japanese island.”
