It is Occupy Oakland versus the Oakland police all over again – and the protesters are still peaceful.
Of all the Occupy protest places, Oakland seems to have the most problems – and the most violence.
Over the weekend the police again clashed with protesters, firing rubber bullets, flash-bangs and tear gas into the crowd.
It seems more and more clear the police there are not interested in peaceful protests – from the video this one is clearly escalated by the police.
Does anyone recall the days when the police were there to serve and protect the public rather than corporate power?
