“Outriders will be released officially tomorrow, Thursday April 1, but as part of its grand rollout strategy, the game’s servers have gone live today and a number of streamers and press have access to the full game as we speak.
“The “ambassador” program allowed certain Square Enix-selected streamers to be playing the game as of 7 AM ET this morning, and they’re many shooter and looter veterans you’d recognize.
“I also know that some streamers were able to get access to the full game yesterday in order to record footage that can be shown off today, so they’re even deeper into it.
“As for people like me, the press, I’m not sure if some outlets got in yesterday, but my code should allow me to start playing uh, right now, and I’ll be able to talk/tweet/write about my thoughts from this point forward.”
