“Hours after the eviction deadline of 12:01 a.m., Portland Police interact with protesters, attempting to push the crowd out of the streets.

A police officer was injured shortly before 2 a.m. by a projectile thrown from the crowd. As tension rose, police arrested a 23-year-old man and warned demonstrators they would be subject to arrest or chemical agents.”

What seems to have started in Melbourne with the rough and chaotic eviction of protestors from City Square is now spreading around the world with cities struggling to deal with the Occupiers.

One can’t help but watch and wonder if scenes like these are the beginning of the next revolution.
