“Wonder Woman 1984 will feature the return of General Antiope, Robin Wright confirms.
“With the core team of people involved returning for the sequel like director Patty Jenkins, Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, many are looking forward to the film, especially with how well-received 2017’s Wonder Woman was.
“Set in the 1980s – which Screen Rant exclusively broke last year – at the height of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the U.S., the movie will introduce the Amazonian goddess to a brand new threat, Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Ann Minerva aka Cheetah.”
