““Hard to Kill” action movie star Steven Seagal said he’s “deeply humbled” to be named by Russia as a special envoy for humanitarian ties to the United States.

“The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the appointment on its Facebook page on Saturday, the Associated Press reported.

“Seagal’s unpaid position would “facilitate relations between Russia and the United States in the humanitarian field, including cooperation in culture, arts, public and youth exchanges.”

“Like Putin, Seagal is an expert in Judo, as well as Akido and Karate.

“The 66-year-old star of “Marked for Death” was granted Russian citizenship in 2016 and has defended Putin’s policies, including the 2014 annexing of Crimea.”
