“As well as many other cheerfully offensive points, this zombie teen action-comedy has some speculation about what happens when animals, as well as humans, get bitten by the horrible bug.
“It doesn’t have the poignancy or satire shown in Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead – although the fight scene accompanied by Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5 is Wrightesque – but there are laughs.
“Ben (played by Tye Sheridan – from Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life) is a member of a local scout troop, along with sex-obsessed Carter (Logan Miller) and nerdy Augie (Joey Morgan).”
