“Tonight, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson hosted a virtual press conference with updates on the counting process in Michigan.
“More than 5.2 million Michiganders voted in the 2020 Presidential Election, the highest voter turnout in the state’s modern history.
“Secretary Benson said the overall process was smooth, efficient, secure and accurate. All valid ballots have been counted in Michigan, and counties are now in the final canvassing stage of the process.
“When asked about the lawsuit filed today against Michigan, Benson called it frivolous and without merit.
“She cautions everyone against spreading misinformation, and asks every voter and citizen to counter misinformation and to commit to reporting only accurate information.”
