More bad news for Serena Williams after she undergoes emergency treatment after a pulmonary embolism.
Williams, who has been out of sporting action since winning Wimbledon, has another setback and is now in hospital. Things just seem to keep going wrong for the tennis pro.
There are athletes out there who have played after a pulmonary embolism, so Williams’s statement that she would like to be back in action by the time summer rolls around is entirely possible.
Let’s just hope she’s run through her string of bad luck once and for all. Of course, best wishes for a fast recovery for her.
