“Commuters have been hit with delays of more than an hour after a multiple vehicle crash closed lanes in both directions on the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Wednesday morning.
“Congestion was easing about 10am, but some roads were still experiencing major delays.
“Traffic across the Sydney Harbour Bridge remained heavy, even though all lanes reopened about 8am.
“Southbound traffic was slow through North Sydney from Ernest Street up to the bridge. Traffic has cleared through the Lane Cove Tunnel.
“At least three vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred just before 7am on Wednesday.
“One person was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition and another person was transported in a stable condition to the Royal North Shore Hospital…”
