“Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond are not over just yet. A fourth season of the beloved Apple TV+ series is closer to becoming a reality, with the studio securing option pickups for three key cast members.
“Warner Bros. Television has reportedly secured options on three original cast members: Hannah Waddingham, who plays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Walton; Brett Goldstein, who portrays footballer Roy Kent; and Jeremy Swift, who stars as Director of Football Operations Leslie Higgins. All three actors had been represented by UK acting union Equity, sources told Deadline on August 24.”
