The Comedy Central Roast Of Charlie Sheen was so hyped it was never going to live up to the expectations being piled upon it. And so it turned out.
I’m not saying the Charlie Sheen Roast was bad, but it wasn’t as incredible as was being billed in the run-up. Some of the jokes failed, some of the celebrities looked like they didn’t belong, and Sheen himself just sat there and took it.
One of the few funny lines of the night came from Kate Walsh, who targeted Charlie’s kids. You can see that clip above, but if you want to see the full thing online you’ll have to turn to those dubious, not-quite-legal corners of the Web.
As for Two and a Half Men? This was never a good show, but it seems to have an audience. I guess there are a lot of people out there who have no taste. And in Ashton Kutcher they managed to find an actor even more annoying than Sheen. Incredible.
