Who would have thought that anything to do with Archer had complex meaning to be examined and dissected?
Of course, taking any time to think about it reveals how much the group dynamic changes, flows, bonds, and falls apart simply because of language.
Maybe that’s why I, someone who has loved language for as long as I can remember, like a show that – on the surface – really doesn’t line up with my usual likes/dislikes.
Personally, the loss of ‘phrasing’ as a joke was a sad, sad time.
