“Tens of millions tuned in to the first eight episodes of the fantasy drama, and in The Witcher season 2, you can expect to see Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer’s stories take place in the same timeframe.
“Season 2 won’t have season 1’s divisive approach to timelines, instead following a more linear narrative, after the season finale brought them together.
“The Witcher season 2 is already filming, and the cast has been officially announced. Expect more witchers next year, and for the show to take us to locations from The Witcher books that we’ve never seen before.
“Henry Cavill, of course, returns as Geralt – and in the meantime we’ve been replaying The Witcher 3 just to get excited about the Netflix drama’s return.”
