Though the investigation is ongoing, it looks like police are saying that Venus Williams is at fault in regards to a car accident that ended up injuring one woman and killing a man.
78 year old Jerome Barson died two weeks after the crash as a result of his injuries.
Venus Williams may very well get by without any criminal charges due to the nature of the crash. However, Linda Barson has announced through her attorney that she will be filing a lawsuit against Williams.
It remains to be seen whether being at fault for the accident will carry over into a solid lawsuit for Barson.
