Justin Bieber was straight up BOOED at the Billboard Music Awards last night .. and not like 1 or 2 people … it was a straight up CHORUS of boos … and it made Justin super uncomfortable.
Justin Bieber performed twice during the show, first his new single “Take You” then again with Will. I. Am. on “#thatPOWER.” But when he got on stage to accept the fan-voted Milestone Award there were boos from the audience. He told the crowd: “I’m 19 years old – I think I’m doing a pretty good job. It should really be about the music and the craft that I’m making. This is not a gimmick. I’m an artist, and I should be taken seriously. All this other bull should not be spoken of.”
Let’s straighten things out. Justin Bieber would like you to talk about him because you like songs from “Believe” and not because he has monkey problems, a blog-catnip on-again/off-again relationship with another pop star, and sometimes attacks photographers on the street. He wants to be known as an “artist,” whatever that means. He is not tabloid fodder nor a meme victim. He should be taken seriously…I guess. Cuz his fans say otherwise? No one wants to be killed by rabid fangirls. That’s just embarrassing.
