Hm. That is a big leap of faith to do this with the first two episodes even with the backing of the MCUniverse behind you to feed into things.
In the comments of this video, you see a lot more discussion of things that Jeremy doesn’t mention like fake commercials and whatnot that hold symbolism for both Vision and Wanda.
Still, though… I think it’s an odd move. You’re not going to get a lot of new viewers to the franchise by using a move like this, and you might even lose a few current.
Maybe there’s something to come that will make it all worth it.
