In case you haven’t heard there’s a new Transformers movie coming out soon. I know, Michael Bay said he was done with the franchise after the third abomination but he likes money too much to walk away.
Ahead of the release of Transformers 4: The Age Of Extinction, these three guys decided to watch all three Transformers movies at the same time. The similarities between the three are astonishing.
Bay clearly has a framework in his mind when making a film. Start with a voiceover, have some back story introduce the main character, then Bumblebee, etc.
This means that all three Transformers movies are all the same as each other. Just with longer running times, more explosions, and less character development.
