Since the show started in October 2001, the plot has pretty much stayed the same. The protagonist and narrator Dr. “J.D.” (played by Zach Braff) observes and participates in some of the most idiotic activities a doctor can do while working at ‘Sacred Heart’ hospital.
Yet somehow, a patient almost always manages to recover by the end of the episode and a life lesson is learned. By contrasting it’s seriousness with comedic scenes, Scrubs has coined it’s catchphrase, “Half as long as ER, and twice as funny.”

If you haven’t seen any episodes from season seven, then this is what you’re missing out on. Unfortunately after this season, NBC won’t be airing any more episodes of Scrubs, so enjoy it while it lasts.
