Even though many of the band members in Weezer are approaching 40, they don’t seem to be slowing down in their latest video for their new single “Troublemaker.” In it, they along with their fans break five Guinness Book of World Records.
List of Broken Records:
Of course, some of those records are harder to break than others, but it’s the thought that counts right? Here’s the list of each record broken:
- Largest Game of Dodgeball (50 people on each team, 100 total)
- Most People in a Custard Pie Fight (120 people)
- Most People Riding on a Skateboard (22 people)
- Largest Air Guitar Ensemble (233 people)
- Longest Guitar Hero World Tour Marathon (10 hours, 12 minutes, 54 seconds)
I love the concept, though one record stands out as cheaper than the others. Do 22 people riding on what looks a lot like a float really pass for a skateboard? And lets not forget the obvious, a dodgeball game of 100 people isn’t that hard to assemble for a summer camp.
On a side note, ‘Troublemaker’ unlike ‘Pork and Beans’ doesn’t seem to even be on YouTube. Is going with Yahoo Music for distribution really worth sacrificing another potential viral hit?
