Over the weeks I’ve made no secret of my admiration for Australian Idol contestant Wes Carr. He’s been Mr Consistency, delivering exceptional performance after exceptional performance.
Wes made a name for himself with rock and folk numbers, but tonight he showed us he has more tricks up his sleeve. He really got into the spirit of Michael Jackson week with this brilliant version of “Black or White.”
This was MJ music as it should be: pure unadulterated fun. He even managed to bust out a few of those trademark Moonwalker moves!
Wes has shown us there’s no music he can’t perform. Should we just give him the Australian Idol title now?
