Anyone who used the internet in the 1990s probably used AOL. And if so, they’ll surely remember the “You’ve Got Mail” guy who provided the voice for AOL.

His name is Elwood Edwards, and he’s now semi-retired. However, to earn some spending money, he also drives for Uber.

We know because someone filmed Edwards driving for Uber. After explaining who he was, he even said his famous catchphrase again on cue.

A lot of sites have pitched this as being a shocker. That someone whose voice we all once knew now has a different job. But is it all that surprising? Not really.
