When I think of Wheel Of Fortune, I usually think good ‘ol boring clean family fun. It’s often a show that I groan at whenever my grandma decides to watch it.
But what you’ll be surprised to hear in this interview is Pat Sajak happily admitting to being drunk while hosting the show in it’s early days!
I always knew cheesy gameshow hosts, especially ones that last for decades, couldn’t really be as boring as they appear on TV. “It was a different show back then” Pat admits- he and Vanna would down up to “6” margaritas during their long breaks.
By the time they came back, they would often have trouble “recognizing the alphabet!”
