‘Where The Wild Things Are’ Trailer | Spike Jonze Adapts Children’s Classic

I can’t believe it either. The book you read and cherished as a first grader is set to hit the big screen on October 16 this year.

A little heads up to parents: be prepared to buy a costume like the one seen in this trailer for Halloween. I can’t imagine a kid that wouldn’t want one.

For those of you that don’t remember, “Where The Wild Things Are” is a 10-sentence long story about the imaginary adventures that a mischievous young boy (Max) goes through after being sent to his room without supper.

How Spike Jones thinks he can this expand a 5-minute read into 2 hours is beyond me. Then again, the man is responsible for the abstract award-winning films Being John Malkovich and Adaptation.

Imagination is his practically his middle name.
