Reality star Whitney Port has given birth to a baby boy. And while she loves her baby, she wasn’t exactly a fan of being pregnant.
The star was candid about her experience during pregnancy, which wasn’t as rosy as other celebrities make it out to be on Instagram.
Just a few weeks after the former star of The Hills announced her pregnancy, she shared a photo on Instagram of her wrapped in an oversized robe in bed.
“I felt extra sh*tty this morning, so Timmy decided to set up a camera and put it at the foot of my bed so I could share with you all the terrible things that are going on with me and my pregnancy,” Whitney wrote.
The 32-year-old said her second trimester was “Emotion City,” and that she felt bad for her TV producer husband.
“I can’t control it,” said Whitney. “You don’t understand. I’m just kind of over analyzing everything. You start to really, really not be able to be in the present moment. You start to constantly plan and worry about things and that causes a lot of stress and emotions.”
While her journey through pregnancy wasn’t easy, Whitney says it was worth every second.
“I know what’s coming at the end of this and I would put up with this a million times over because of that,” she wrote in a blog post.
Whitney said she wants to continue to be raw and honest about her pregnancy journey, but that her heart breaks for those who are trying to get pregnant and can’t.
By the end of her pregnancy, Whitney said she was finally loving being pregnant. While she admitted to still having some body issues, she was focused and ready for motherhood.
Whitney gave birth to her son, named Sonny Sanford Rosenman, on July 27.
