Whoopi Goldberg has stunned viewers and media outlets around the world after appearing high on drugs on her popular talk show The View.
But strip away the hype, and it’s not really as bad as it sounds. It’s undeniable that this video shows Whoopi in some pretty poor form. But let’s remember, she was still suffering the effects of drugs taken to calm her nerves during an international flight.
Whoopi’s long talked about her fear of flying, and it takes something as significant as the AIDS benefit in Austria to inspire her to do it.
So I don’t fault Whoopi for this embarrassing performance, but I have to wonder what The View’s production team were thinking letting her appear on air in this state!
