Actress and model Bella Thorne recently shared nude pictures of herself on Instagram. She did so after a hacker allegedly tried to blackmail her by threatening to release the photos.
While most people think Thorne did the right thing, Whoopi Goldberg doesn’t have much sympathy, and said as much on an episode of The View.
Goldberg’s opinion is that celebrities should know they’re at risk of being hacked by now, and therefore shouldn’t take nude pictures of themselves under any circumstances.
Bella Thorne obviously disagrees, and thinks Whoopi Goldberg is essentially victim-shaming her. In reality, they’re probably both half-right.
