I can’t believe how many public schools ignore programming these days! Sure, I sought out computer science in high school and scraped the surface with Visual Basic, but a lot of kids these days have no idea what a program is.

One of my favorite quotes from Steve Jobs is, “I think everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer because it teaches you how to think.” As stated in the video, computers are pretty dull and stupid machines unless they are given inputs, and it’s important to understand and harness that power.
