It shouldn’t surprise you to hear that fizzy drinks such as Coca Cola and Mountain Dew rot your teeth. We all know this, and yet we all still drink the stuff regardless.
But why does Mountain Dew rot your teeth faster than Coca Cola? One young man decided to uncover the truth, and this video shows him explaining exactly why soda is such a boon for dentists.
We discover that neither of these drinks is good for your teeth. However, while on paper Coca Cola should rot your teeth faster due to its higher pH level, something called titratable acid means Mountain Dew is even worse.
After watching this video I’ll be drinking a lot less fizzy drinks, and if and when I do drink them, I’ll be sure to brush my teeth as quickly as possible in order to lessen the effect.
