Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany is the world’s largest model train set. It measures a whopping 11, 840 square feet, but that size is hard to comprehend until you watch this video.
The clip pans over the top of the railway, which seems to keep going, and going, and going!
In fact, Minatur Wunderland takes you on a global journey, taking in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and even North America.
Who cares if you can’t really catch a train from the USA to Europe? The Grand Canyon and Las Vegas add a little authenticity, even if the facts don’t really stack up.
The most astounding thing is that the creators still aren’t done. They’ve almost completed an airport, which is due to open later this year, and I bet their next idea is already in the pipeline!
