Last week a YouTube video went viral, racking up millions of views. It was also shown on television stations and news channels around the world. The problem is the whole thing was a fake.
After Miley Cyrus’ woeful attempts at twerking at the MTV VMAs, a YouTube video of a girl twerking until she fell, landed on a glass table full of candles, and set her pants alight, went viral.
Now, Jimmy Kimmel has revealed his involvement in the clip. It was all staged, and the girl who caught light is actually a stuntwoman.
This wasn’t so much a twerking fail as it was a pranking success. I was fooled, and I suspect you were too.
