As you may have heard already Zachary Quinto has come out as gay, officially announcing what many have suspected for some time. And this fan cannot contain her excitement at the news.
Quinto, Spoke in the new Star Trek movies and Sylar from Heroes, came out as gay in an interview with New York Magazine. I really hope it doesn’t impact on his Hollywood career.
I don’t quite get why this girl is so excited. Sure, it’s another big name coming out of the closet, and the more that do so the more likely universal acceptance is going to be. But still.
It actually annoys me that a celebrity coming out as gay is big news. It really shouldn’t matter a jot and we should all just shrug our shoulders and move on. But instead we make a big deal of it.
