Ricky Gervais is one of the funniest men on Earth. And anyone who has seen him interact with either Karl Pilkington, Robin Ince, or Pigboy aka Nigel, will know he’s not easily fazed.
However, when Matt Zaller interviewed Gervais about his new film, The Invention of Lying, he dropped his pants right on front of him. And though Gervais handled it well, can’t help thinking he was just a little bit uncomfortable.
Zaller is the man who persuaded Megan Fox to put a bag on her head and who took his shirt off in front of Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner, who is also in The Invention of Lying with Gervais.
This is one of the funniest interviews I’ve seen in a while, and it also must have been a refreshing change for Gervais as he sat through serious interview after serious interview. Taking your pants off is at least one way to liven up a press junket.
