Some of the videos which go viral, and garner millions of page views are inexplicably bizarre. And this piece of classic viral YouTube fare is one of the weirdest.
It starts strangely with a kid in a zombie costume, well some black and white face paints anyway, staring in to the camera of a roving news reporter, and then it gets weirder.
First of all the zombie’s name is Jonathan, which is as normal a name as you can get. Then the reporter proceeds to ask him what he thinks of his face paint job.
His response? “I like turtles!”. That is inspired, completely ignoring the question to give his own view on turtles. The way the reporter is gobsmacked leads me to believe she’ll never work with children or animals again, especially not turtles.
