Albert Nobbs would be just another stuffy period piece if not for Glenn Close’s amazing transformation from handsome middle aged actress to slightly creepy looking man. The film drags on, so this video lets you see the main attraction in less than two minutes.
The clip shows Glenn and the film’s makeup artists talking about their work on the movie, but the coolest part is the footage of that manly makeover. It’s blessedly sped up too so we needn’t be bored like Glenn by all the time spent in the makeup chair.
Perhaps the creators of White Chicks and Norbit should take note. This is how a cinematic sex change should look!
