You’ve probably all seen Transformers and Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen by now, although I don’t know why any of bothered seeing the ludicrous snooze-fest that was the sequel to the brilliant original.
However, as impressive as the Transformers created by Michael Bay and a team of special effects gurus were, they are merely visual effects. Unlike this paper transformer which is real and pretty damn amazing.
I think what makes this video, and the paper transformer itself so cool is how simple it all seems. If I tried to create a similar thing, even following the instructions to the letter, I’d no doubt mess it up and it would fall apart.
But this guy creates an awesome paper transformer in a matter of seconds using nothing more than a folded piece of paper and some Sellotape. I wonder how much paper would be needed to create real-life version of one of Michael Bay’s Transformers?
