Some people wouldn’t call ping pong a real sport. The Chinese, however, don’t take table tennis lightly. As a result, they have some of the most skillful players in the world.
Seriously, is there anything that Asians aren’t good at?
The two players in this video appear to be neck to neck in their table tennis skills. That’s because the one on the bottom is two-time world champion Guo Yuehua and the Jackie-Chan-looking guy at the top is Chen Xinhua.
Chen, who is known for his world-famous defending skills, retaliates with some unbelievable maneuvers. Aside from the backhand that curved at 0:26, he also does a cartwheel, and, to everyone’s surprise, jumps on the table to score the point.
Of course, it the maneuver isn’t legal and has the point has to be thrown out, but it still makes for an amazing show.
