The trance music pioneer Robert Miles has passed away after a short, undisclosed illness. He was only 47.
The Italian DJ, whose real name was Roberto Concina, was best known for his massive hit, Children, which was the soundtrack to many people’s parties in the 1990s.
Miles released a number of albums, including Dreamland, which spawned Children. That album was extremely popular around the world, making Robert Miles a household name in certain circles.
For anyone to die at such a young age is an absolute tragedy. And lots of people will be mourning the death of someone who soundtracked their teenage years.
