In yet another disgusting display of pursuit of profit no matter what the cost, children are being given anti-psychotic drugs – often for problems they don’t actually have.
As a victim – yes, victim – of a doctor who would rather get points in towards his vacation in Hawaii by prescribing me dangerous drugs than actually listening to my problems, this is an issue close to my heart.
It is no secret that a lot of the world is over medicated (with the other parts having little to no access to life-saving treatments).
It is a deplorable juxtaposition where the only winners are the doctors who get what are nothing better than bribes and the drug companies who make millions.
