The new Mac Pro looks like a cheese grater and has a starting price of $5,999. And that comes without a monitor and a stand.
The Pro Display XDR monitor will set you back an additional $4,999. And the Pro Stand will cost $999. Which is a ludicrous asking price.
While the handpicked audience of employees and journalists clapped like seals throughout, the price of the Pro Stand resulted in audible groans. No wonder the guy on stage walked off quickly.
