The BriTANick comedy duo graduated from NYU’s School of the Arts, however like most comedy troupes, Brian and Nick decided to use their knowledge gained to create “short stupid videos that would make them laugh.”
Two years and 1,000,000 YouTube views later, I guess you could say it was a great decision.
Nick Kocher (left) and Brian McElhaney (right) have been making hilarious virals since 2007 but their experience and friendship prior are what made them successful. Nick began acting in 6th grade and is also part of a sketch comedy group. Brian, on the other hand, majored in film at NYU. The combination couldn’t be better.
I’d say the only problem with the group would have to be their consistency- after 2 years they only have 13 shorts. Unlike RunawayBox, Brian and Nick don’t have HBO behind them every step of the way. Still, with the amount of views they’ve gotten you’d only expect their team to expand to make production easier.
